Eillene Shaw Dickens, 96, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones,Friday April 8, 2016.  A Graveside funeral will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Loving Cemetery in Loving, Texas.  Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

 Eillene was born August 24, 1919 in Loving, Texas to the late Lee Seth and Ruthie Pearl Shaw.  She was one of five children.  In growing up she always left the housework and cooking to her mother and sister, she preferred to be outdoors.  During her teenage years she found her love for the game of basketball, music and dancing.  In 1937 she married Walter Woods and had two daughters, Patsy Yvonne and Lynda Darnell.  She attended Wichita Falls Beauty College and in time owned her own beauty salon in Wichita Falls.  In her lifetime her many talents always led her to service professions where she could assist and advise since she was people oriented, helping with bridal planning, makeup artist, and health care provider.  From 1958 to 2012 she found a new joy of being a Grandmother, also known as "Mamaw" to twenty-six grandkids.

Survivors include; daughter, Lynda Edmonson of Elgin, Texas; eight grandkids, Ricky, Cathy, Lisa, Herbie, Steve, Russell, Sharon, and Elaine; sixteen great grandkids, Loran, Branson, Shelby, DJ, Stephen, Ben, Laura, Cody, Troy, Travis, Lynda Kay, Catina, Elizabeth, Daniel, Tommy, and Antonio; two great great grandkids, Lindee and Westin; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Eillene was preceded in death by her husband Don Dickens, daughter Patsy Woods Crowe,  grandson Ricky Dale Crowe, sister and three brothers.
