Elio Miguel Gutierrez

Elio Miguel Gutierrez, age 20, passed away in Young County, Texas on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.   Visitation is scheduled Sunday September 11, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.  Rosary will follow at 5:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Monday September 12, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery.

Miguel was born in Graham on May 10, 2002 along with his twin sister, Karen, to loving parents, Jose Elio Gutierrez and Maria Gelin Ortega. Growing up, Miguel was the sweet and quiet twin, while his sister was the loud and rough one. Miguel and Karen were always very close, they only had the occasional fight, and he would always seek out his sister for advice.  He graduated from Graham High School in 2020 and was attending University of Texas- Arlington and was studying engineering technology. Miguel loved his family more than anything, he enjoying going and working alongside his dad, and cleaning houses with his mom. He took any excuse to be near his family.

Miguel is survived by his parents, Jose Guiterrez and Maria Ortega Gutierrez of Graham, and twin sister, Karen Gutierrez of Graham.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Teresa Guerrero and Abel Ortega.
