Elisa Brooks Neve

Elisa Brooks Neve, 91, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2010 in Graham. Graveside service will be Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. in Brooks Cemetery in Young County under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Elisa was born on August 10, 1918 in Graham to the late Lewis Wilson and Molly (Winniger) Brooks. She married Byron E. Neve on April 20, 1960 in Austin. He preceded her in death. Elisa attended Texas School for the Deaf in Austin and she was a member of the Association for the Deaf.

Survivors include: sister, Gwendolyn Brooks Thompson of Graham; brother, Lewis Wilson Brooks, Jr. and wife, Faye of Gardendale; several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Brooks Sims and a brother, Russell Thurman Brooks.
