Elmer Lewis Barnett

Elmer Lewis Barnett, 79, passed away at his home Sunday, December 18, 2011, surrounded by his family. Funeral will be Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Graham Church of God with Pastor Don Russell and Reverend Wayne Blackshear of Paris, Texas officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Elmer was born September 12, 1932 in Jack County to the late Lee Roy and Lillie Maude (Marney) Barnett. He married Helen Joyce Wood, December 2, 1951, in Jack County, Texas.
Elmer was a Production Superintendent with Turnco Inc. in Graham and a member of Graham Church of God.

Survivors include; Wife of 60 years, Helen of Graham; daughter, Carolyn Hampton and husband Larry of Graham; grandchildren, Amanda Payne and husband Alex of Argyle, Jared Hampton of Graham; great grandchildren, Ethan, Emerson, and Evan Payne; brother, Irvan Barnett of Graham.

Elmer was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.

The Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.

The family suggests that memorials be made to Graham Church of God, P.O. Box 217, Graham, Texas.
