Elva Sue Pippin

Elva Sue Pippin, 71, passed away Friday, September 6, 2019 in Dallas. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in Country Road Fellowship. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Jermyn under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Sue was born April 9, 1948 in Jacksboro to the late Sleepy and Ollie Elva (Kinnard) Damron. She married Dennie Lee Pippin, Sr. November 17, 1967 in Jacksboro. Sue was a personal caretaker and a member of Country Road Fellowship and Jermyn Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family & singing in her praise & worship band that helped start many churches over the years. She loved hunting, drop line fishing, traveling to the mountains & working in her flower beds.

Survivors include: husband, Dennie Pippin, Sr. of Jermyn; daughter, Missy Coufal and husband, Tim of Jermyn; sons, Pat Pippin and wife, Callie of Jermyn and Dennie Pippin, Jr. of Jermyn; sister, Lucille Tipton and husband, Neely of Cundiff; brothers, S.F. Damron and wife, Peggy of Loving , Joe Damron and wife, Charlotte of Graham, and David Damron and wife, Barbara of Arlington; grandchildren, Timmy, Justin, Lance, Brandon, Jake, Jenna, Kayleigh, Dixie, and Tommy; great grandchildren, Manny, Bonnie, Zaylea, Jared, Jenson, Kain, Keaton, Melody, and Legacy.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Bailey.

Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
