Ethel Louise Nunley

Ethel Louise Nunley, 79, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2011 in Graham, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Ethel was born on April 2, 1932 in Graham to the late John Raymond and Mary Ann (Reep) Howard. She married Thomas Jasper Nunley on April 19, 1947 in Breckenridge. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2009. Ethel graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton and was a teacher for the Gainesville ISD. She moved back to Graham in 1973.

Survivors include: daughter, Vivian Nunley and husband, Lawrence Clearfield of Graham; sons, Thomas J. Nunley, Jr. and wife, Sharon of Graham and Russell H. Nunley and wife, Daphne of Graham; brother, Virgil R. Howard and wife, Faye of Demming, New Mexico; sister, Roberta Males and husband, LaMonye of Kilgore; ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by son, Richard D. Nunley and brothers, John and William Howard.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
