Ethel Wooldridge

Ethel Wooldridge, 94, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 at her home in Graham.  Funeral will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 11 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Proffitt Cemetery in Young County.

Ethel was born August 7, 1929 in Graham to the late Thomas Earl and Annie Alice (Cox) Clark.   She married Quentin F. “Chinny” Wooldridge January 29, 1944 in Newcastle.  He preceded her in death on July 22, 2010.  Ethel was a lifetime resident of Graham and Young County and a faithful member of Little Hope Primitive Baptist Church.  She loved cooking, gardening, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.  

Survivors include: son, Larry Wooldridge and wife, Mary of Graham; daughters, Patty Robertson and husband, David of Graham, Elaine DeWitt and husband, Jim of Abilene, Betsy Keith and husband, Jerry of Graham, Joy Leasure of Graham, and Angela Bobo of Graham; sisters, Betty Wilson of Waxahachie and Ida Weir of Jacksboro; brother, Lee Clark of Georgetown; 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Q.F. Wooldridge, son-in-law, Jim Bobo, and eleven brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
