Eva Lou Hagelstein

Eva Lou Hagelstein, 71, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2013 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Waco under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Eva Lou was born March 27, 1942 in Dallas to the late Thomas Alton and Mary Lou (Gauntt) Green. Eva Lou taught school for 30 years. This included teaching 3rd grade in Graham for 27 years. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church. Eva Lou was an avid traveler, she and Herman visited all seven continents. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 1, 2013.

Survivors include: husband, Herman Hagelstein of Graham; daughter, Laura Nighorn and husband, David of Apex, North Carolina; son, Paul Hagelstein and wife, Kim of Waco; brother, Larry Green and wife, Margie of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Rachel and Christopher Nighorn both of Apex, North Carolina.

Family visitation will be held Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
