Evangelina Vargas

Evangelina Gonzales Vargas, 90, passed away Monday February 12, 2024.  

There are no words to all the unknowns of the world we live in. Only that God needed his Angel. We are left with all the beautiful memories & moments you shared with each of us. You weren't someone else's Mom you were ours & to us you were the best. You gave your life for us, you gave us love only you could, you sacrificed anything & everything for us, you gave us the best love only our beautiful Mother could. You gave us smiles, laughter smiles, hugs & kisses. Nothing about you could ever be replaced or forgotten you are alive in my heart & soul. Today I don't know how not to feel hurt, sad, empty or broken but I do know we will rejoice again. I feel you wipe the tear that trickles down my face, with the soft touch of your hand. I see you I feel you Mom & I will forever love you. Thank you for the life you gave us as a family. We stand united together for you and for each other. I believe that Father God has taken you to his home, his kingdom. I have faith I will learn to smile & be happy one day. We love You Mom 

Survivors; daughters, Mary Avalos of El Paso, Mercy Diaz, Josie Villa, Amy and Darrell Warren, Patsy and Terry Weatherbee all of Graham, Goya and Valentin Najera of Padgett, Eva and wife Debi Diaz Cardenas of Wichita Falls; sons, Jose Diaz and partner Patricia Mona of Fort Lauderdale, FL. and Jon Diaz of Graham; 21 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.

Evangelina was preceded in death by husband Juan Diaz and a son Silvester Diaz.
