Evelyn Maxine Kennemer

Evelyn Maxine Kennemer, 85, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in Graham.  Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Evelyn was born January 19, 1930 to the late Raymond and Lemmie (Smith) Burkett.  She married Don Kennemer July 17, 1993 in Sterling City.  He preceded her in death January 1, 1996.  After living in the metroplex and San Angelo for a number of years, she returned to Graham in July 2012.  Evelyn was of the Methodist Faith.  She was active in the Downtown Business Sunday School Fellowship in San Angelo and supported missions in Ukraine.  Evelyn excelled in baking and gourmet cooking.  Her family and friends will long remember the meals she served.

Evelyn is survived by: sister-in-law, Ina D. Burkett of Graham; nieces, Lynette Gomillion of Graham, Retta Jon Holley of Fort Worth; two great nieces and a great nephew.
