Fern Estelle Reger

Fern Reger, 94, passed away in his home in South Bend on November 6, 2020. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 10 AM in Lyons Cemetery in Eliasville. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Fern was born on November 7, 1925 in South Bend, Texas to Nove Walter Reger and Naoma Francis Delong Reger. He attended South Bend Public School. On September 20, 1946 he married the love of his life, Larie Robinson Reger. Together, they welcomed their son, Steve Reger. Fern served in the United States Army during World War 2. He was a volunteer of the Eliasville/South Bend Volunteer Fire Department.

Fern is survived by son, Steve Reger of South Bend; grandchildren, Melody Parker and husband Andy of Graham, and Hope Reger of Throckmorton; great grandchildren, Rylee Moore, Teagan Parker, and Larissa Warren; and great nephew, Dennis Whitehead.

Fern was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Larie Reger on July 21, 2020, his parents, and seven sisters, and five brothers.
