F.H. "Stub" Green

F.H. "Stub" Green, 72, of Loving, Texas died Saturday, November 1, 2008 in Graham. A graveside funeral will be held Monday, November 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Farmer Cemetery with Don Wickham of Electra, Texas officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Stub was born August 18, 1936 in Farmer, Texas to the late William Harvey and Georgia Blanch (Loyd) Green. He married Virginia Graves, October 8, 1957 in Graham. She preceded him in death on July 6, 2008. Stub was a lifetime resident of Young County and a member of the Jean Baptist Church. Stub was a Rancher and former Young County Commissioner for Precinct 4.

Survivors include; sons, Fred H. Green, Jr. and wife Dolores of Loving and William Green and Twila Ward of Graham; sister, Georgia Ruth Jackson of Farmer; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
