Florence Edna Corbett, 96, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2011 in Arlington. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Florence was born on August 18, 1914 in Oklahoma to the late George and Hester Mageson. She married A.W. Corbett on December 28, 1939 in Breckenridge. He preceded her in death on January 27, 1987. Florence was a longtime resident of Graham moving to Fort Worth in 1968. She was a member of Wedgewood Baptist Church in Fort Worth and a homemaker.
Survivors include: son, Wayne Corbett and wife, Sandra of Arlington; daughter, Edna Corbett Riek of Brownwood; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Corbett, Keith Corbett, Courtney Iordanescu, and Matthew Riek and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Bradley Riek on August 25, 2003.
