Florence Speer

Florence Speer, age 92, passed away in Frisco, Texas on Monday, November 21, 2022. Funeral Services will be Monday, November 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Loving Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Florence was born on June 9, 1930 to Stanley Luke Benzie and Agnes Rybarczyk Benzie in Burnside, Pennsylvania. She married a Texas boy, Billy Dean Speer, in Chicago, Illinois on June 25, 1955. In 1956 they welcomed their son, Jeffrey, and then in 1957 they moved back to Texas, where they settled down to raise him.

Florence is survived by her son, Jeffrey Speer of Plano, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dean Speer on January 18, 1987, five brothers, two sisters, and her parents.
