Geneva M. Williams, 89, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Wilbarger Memorial Park in Vernon under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Geneva, a 30 year Graham resident, was born November 18, 1923 in Winslow, Arkansas to Joe & Maggie Mann. She married Lee Roy Williams November 25, 1944 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death April 13, 2005. She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, and good friend to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Geneva loved her family with her whole heart and it was said of her that she was designed by God to be a mother and a grandmother.
Survivors include: daughter, Diane Mackey of Sterling, Colorado; son, Danny Williams of Thornton, Colorado; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Oak Street Baptist Church Mission Program.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
