George Leroy Gilmore

George Leroy Gilmore, 76, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012 in Graham. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April, 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

George was born on December 12, 1935 in Graham to the late Arthur Boyd and Rosie Bell (Yarbrough) Gilmore. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Korean War and a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include; sons, Kerry Charles Gilmore, Jerry Don Gilmore, Terry Dale Gilmore, Garry Dean Gilmore, and Darrell Wayne Gilmore; sister, Marilyn Ann Gilmore of Wyoming; brother, Larry Wayne Gilmore and wife, Pam of Graham; numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
