George Halbert Hardin

George Halbert Hardin, 76, passed away May 13, 2009 in Fort Worth. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 15, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery with Gary Tull of Graham officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

George was born on August 24, 1932 in Dallas to the late Billy Montgomery and Bess (Barbee) Hardin. He married Dorothy B. Chapin on December 26, 1946 in Fort Worth. She preceded him in death on May 13, 2006. George was a veteran of the United States Army and Navy. He owned a micro film and optical scanning business in Arlington and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include: daughter, Ann Kniffen and husband Bennie of Fort Worth; sister, Jackie Hardin of Seymour; brother, Bobby Hardin of Daisetta, Texas; sister-in-laws, Frances Shepard and husband Bob of Graham and Libby Prusak and husband John of McKinney; grandchild, Searcy Kniffen of Fort Worth; nieces, Karen Barner, Gail Kovar, and Carrie Fitzgerald.
