George Wesley Kiger

George Wesley Kiger, 85, passed away Saturday April 9, 2016 in Rockwall Texas.  Graveside services will be held Saturday April 16, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Pioneer Cemetery Gazebo.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.  Mark Lisle will officiate the service.
 
George was born June 28, 1930 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Dan and Alpha Kiger.  He is preceded in death by his wife Joan Stratton Kiger.  He enjoyed 30 years of retirement from Civil Service where his last assignment was Range Director at White Sands Missile Range. He was also a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Survivors include daughter Gail Cullen and husband Terry of Odessa, and son George Kiger Jr. and wife Jimi of Rockwall. His grandchildren are Janian King and husband David of Euless, Tiffani Anderson and husband Jonathan of Rockwall, Shaw Kiger of Rockwall, and Ryan McKissack of Austin.  He is also survived by great-grandson Miles King.
