Gladys Elizabeth McGlothin

Gladys Elizabeth McGlothin, 97, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 in Graham.  Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in Farmer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Gladys was born October 3, 1918 in Farmer to the late Earl Collins and Josephine (Gegg) Garvery.  She married Kenneth Albert McGlothin November 24, 1938 in Graham and he preceded her in death June 2, 1996.  Gladys owned and operated a beauty shop in Graham for many years and was a member of Abundant Life Center.

Survivors include: nephew, Dale Garvey and wife, Sarah of Graham, great nephew, Brett Dearman; great nieces,  Christin Garvey, Bailey Dearman and Christal Garvey.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Ann Wooters, son, Kent McGlothin, brother, Joe Garvey and grandchildren, Tina, Shawn, and Chris Wooters.
