Gladys Ratcliffe

Gladys Beulah Ratcliffe, 96, passed Monday, February 3, 2014 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Oak Street Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Gladys was born March 18, 1917 in Young County, Texas to the late Bertie Claude and Viola Madeline (Young) Laquey. She married Milton Ray Ratcliffe June 16, 1935 in Graham. He preceded her in death January 4, 1981. Gladys moved to Graham in 1964 from Farmington, New Mexico. She was a former retail clerk in Graham and Farmington, NM and a member of Oak Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include: sons, Jim Ratcilffe and wife, Elsie of Olney, Ted Ratcliffe and wife, Carolyn of Lubbock, Richard Ratcliffe of Graham, and Wayne Ratcliffe and wife, Dorothy of Palo Pinto; sister, Nancy Jones of Lingleville; son-in-law, Bill Wooldridge and wife, Nadine of Graham; 17 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by daughters, Martha Nation and Helen Wooldridge.
