Glen D. Kendrick, 87, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in Graham. Funeral is scheduled Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Glen was born September 21, 1928 in Stamford to the late Carl Dennison and Mary Terrell Kendrick. He graduated from Valley View High School in Valley View, Texas. He was one of only six students in his graduating class that attended the Valley View schools from the first grade through graduation. After graduation Glen joined the US Army where served during the end of World War II and the period before the Korean War. After basic training he was stationed in Seoul, South Korea where he served as a private with the Seventh Division Thirty-First Artillery Battalion. After returning to Valley View and Kamay he married Betty Byrd, June 4, 1950 in Electra. She preceded him in death on April 19, 2009. Glen was a resident of Wichita Falls until he moved to Graham in 1960. In 1963, they built their home on Lake Graham. Glen's favorite past times were adding to the house, caring for the yard and garden, growing pecans, hunting, fishing, and spoiling the grandkids. Glen was employed by various oil field supply stores in Nocona, Kamay, Holiday, Wichita Falls and Graham. When he retired he was a manufactures sales representative for O'Bannon Division of the Dover Corporation. After retirement he worked in the warehouse of Harbison Fisher store in Graham.

Survivors include; daughter, Deborah Kendrick of Graham; granddaughter, Carly Sobczak and husband Garrett of Houston; grandson, Brady Kendrick and wife Shayna of Bend, Oregon; daughter-in-law, Lori Kendrick Eddleman and husband Jim Bob of Graham and a great grandson: Owen K. Sobczak.

Glen was preceded in death by a son Carlton Kendrick in 2009.

Memorials may be given to a local hospice or your favorite charity.

Family Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
