Grace Martin

Grace Elda Martin born September 3, 1934 died September 14, 2024 at the age of 90. Graveside service will be held Friday, September 20, 2024 at 10 a.m. in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Jack County. 

When she was 16 she met and married the love of her life Billy Joe Martin (aka Pawpaw). They were married in April of 1950 and celebrated 56 years of marriage before his passing in 2006. 

In 1952 they welcomed their first child, Weneva Martin Clark. Soon followed two boys, Earl Martin, Lyn Martin and then another girl Kathryn Martin. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Floyd Thomas, her husband Billy Joe Martin and one great granddaughter. 

Grace is survived by her children and their spouses. Several grandchildren Sheila, Lyn, Terri, Liza, Eddie, Tina, Lucas, Derrick, Sheena, Josh, Laura, Brandi, Jeremy and Anna and their spouses. 

She is also survived by great grandchildren Hailey, Devon, Kolton, Shelby, Jordan, Ethan, Alissa, Addie, Aubrey and Emma Colton, Tyler, Regan, Kevin, Lylah, Jenna, Jaci, Jameson, Jackson, Lily, Jane, Hazel, Ava, Nylah, Ashton, Brennan, Beau, Christian, Cale and Camille and their spouses. 

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
