Gracie Marie Perkins, 17, passed away Friday, August 30, 2024 in Palo Pinto County. Funeral service will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 10 a.m. in the Cowboy Church of Young County. Burial will follow in Gooseneck Cemetery in Young County under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Gracie Marie was born March 8, 2007 in Fort Worth to Jamie Lynn and Dusty Allen Perkins. Gracie Marie accepted Christ into her heart on June 21, 2018 and was baptized on June 30, 2018. Gracie Marie was such a happy, free spirited, and sassy young lady. She could always be found loving on the horses, the cats, the dogs, there was not an animal she did not love. Her two favorites being her dog "Rylee" and steer "Moses". She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and listening to music of all genres. Gracie had a love for vehicles, everything from 4 wheel drive lifted trucks, Honda Preludes, Corvettes, to motorcycles. She was planning and looking forward to enlisting into the Air Force. Even though she was tiny, this girl could eat. Especially her Nanna's biscuits and gravy or chicken fried steak and Gma's homemade tortillas and Menudo. Gracie was the best little sister to Kailey, they truly were the best of friends. From the back roading, keeping secrets from mom and dad to always demanding her things back from her big sis. Our sweet Gracie will be dearly missed and forever in the hearts of all of her family and friends.
