Gregory Ladd Farrar, 75, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025 at his home in Graham. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 2 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.
Greg was born August 12, 1949 in Lubbock to the late Harold Smith and Patricia Louise (Hafner) Farrar. Greg was a lover of many things, especially people! He could (and would) talk to complete strangers for long periods of time, making friends wherever he went. Greg was an amazing Anesthetist (CRNA) and loved his job very much. In his earlier years, Greg was an avid golfer and was excellent at the game! If he were still with us, he could most likely list all of the courses he had ever played. In addition to people and golf, Greg really loved beautiful things like clothing (especially his shoes)! Greg also loved cars of all kinds! He could tell you every vehicle he ever purchased and at last count over 8 years ago, he had owned and driven 43 cars since 1980! Greg was also a lover of delicious food and could always recommend a fabulous restaurant. He was also a fabulous cook and was known for his guacamole and Steak Diane! Greg loved his family and friends very much and was generous with everyone. The greatest love of his life was his daughter, Lindsay and his grandchildren! He loved to brag on their accomplishments.
Survivors include: daughter, Lindsay Burkhalter and husband, Jason of Amarillo; grandchildren, Talyn, Teagn, Kolton, and Kaden Burkhalter all of Amarillo. He also leaves behind many special friends including Dana Drennan of Graham Tx, Brad and Donna Bunch of Shattuck, OK as well as others too numerous to count.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Kevan Farrar.
