Harold Dean Boyle, 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Senkel of Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Loving Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Harold was born on January 22, 1930 in Jean to George Earl and Olive Agnes (Humphrey) Boyle. He was a respected mechanic and owner of H & L Auto and Truck for 15 years and worked in the oil and gas industry. Harold was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Graham.
Survivors include: his wife of 28 years, Lois of Graham; two sons, Lawrence and Pastor Tom Boyle and wife, Vicky of Graham; two step children, Robert Hearne and wife, Norma of Henrietta and Cathi Layfield and husband Gary of Frisco; six grandchildren, Robert Boyle and wife Jeleta of Hico, Richard Boyle and wife Amy of Graham, Carrie Boyle and Caleb Boyle both of Graham, and David and Zac Layfield of Frisco; three great grandchildren, Paydon and Payge Boyle of Hico and Courtney Boyle of Graham; sister, Earlene Westbrook of San Angelo; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or charity of your choice.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
