Harriet Wood Kilpatrick

Harriet Wood Kilpatrick, 89, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2011 in Graham. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Harriet was born on August 17, 1921 in Caldwell to the late Harry Cleophy and Eddie Lee (Carroll) Wood. She married Elbert O. Kilpatrick on September 1, 1946 in Austin. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2008. Harriet graduated from Southwest Texas State University and was a public school teacher for Burkburnett ISD.

Survivors include: daughters, Jennifer Stout of Powderly, Jessica Martin of Powderly, and Mitzi Taylor of San Antonio; sons, Robert B. Kilpatrick of Graham, Charles S. Kilpatrick of Olney, Paul G. Kilpatrick of Castroville, and Carey B. Kilpatrick of Burkburnett; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
