Helen Wooldridge, 75, passed away, Friday August 19, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Tony Nickel and Gary Tull officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Helen was born August 6, 1936 in Graham to Gladys Beulah Laquay Ratcliffe and the late Milton Ray Ratcliffe. She married Billy Cern Wooldridge, April 28, 1953 in Proffitt, Texas. Helen had been a resident of Graham off and on since birth. She was a former receptionist for a doctor's office, a lawyer's office, an office manager for an oil company, owned her own business for years, substitute school teacher, former employee of Olney Savings and Loan, and former employee of the local Edward Jones office. Helen loved people and she was loved by many in return.

Survivors include; husband, Bill Wooldridge of Graham; daughter, Rebecca Mitchel and husband Gary of Manhattan Beach, CA.; two sons, Billy B. Wooldridge and wife Toni of Graham and Mark D. Wooldridge and wife Ruby of Sugarland; mother, Gladys Ratcliffe of Graham; four brothers, Jim Ratcliffe of Graham, Richard Ratcliffe of Mineral Wells, Ted Ratcliffe of Lubbock, and Wayne Ratcliffe of Palo Pinto; seven granddaughters, two grandsons, four great grandsons, three great granddaughters and one great-granddaughter due in October.

Helen was preceded in death by sister, Martha Nation and father, Ray Ratcliffe.

The family asks that memorials be made to American Cancer Association, Young County Chapter, P.O. Box 225, Graham, Texas 76450.
