Helena, 91, born to Paul and Geraldine Holbrook in Concord on July 26, 1933, was raised in Pembroke, NH. She was a graduate of Concord High School class of 1951. She married the love of her life, Parker and together they raised six children. Helena was predeceased by her; parents, husband, daughter Lynn Posey, granddaughter Abby Stephens, sister Joan Perriello, brother Richard and daughter-in-law Brenda.

Helena loved her family more than anything else in this world. As a young woman, she was always surrounded her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Helena worked at JC Penny Co. and Sanel Auto Parts in Concord for many years. Later she was quite successful in Mary Kay Cosmetics along with her sister-in-law Cookie. Helena had many close friendships that she held dearly through out her life.

Helena enjoyed the seacoast of New England and together with Parker, they traveled to many NE beaches, harbors and their favorite coastal light houses.

Following retirement, Helena and Parker moved to Texas, joining several of their children and grandchildren. Helena became an accomplished quilter, traveling throughout the southwest from California to Florida, attending quilting events and workshops. She sewed personalized quilts for disabled veterans and displaced persons. “Gram” created wall hangings, holiday stockings and school back packs for her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren. Helena inspired her daughter Joanie, affectionately known as Pookie, to pursue the sewing arts as a business.
