Howard C. Collier

Howard C. Collier, 85, passed away Monday May 30, 2011. Funeral services will be Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church with Gary Tull of Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Howard was born January 12, 1926, the youngest of seven children, to the late Harry P. and Ella Nora Shawver Collier in Seymour, Texas. He graduated from Bomarton High School and was a proud Navy veteran of World War II. He married Louise Railsback, November 23, 1946 in Seymour. Howard was a resident of Graham since 1953, a retired independent agent and the owner of Collier Insurance Agency. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include; wife of 64 years, Louise Collier of Graham; daughter, Suzanne Godby and husband Hubert L. Godby, Jr. of Fort Worth; son, Mark C. Collier and wife Cathy of Weatherford; grandchildren, David Collier and wife, Amanda, Angela Collins and husband Christian, Grant Godby, Janet Godby, Cavin Collier and wife, Lindsey, Cameron Collier, and Carson Collier; three great grandchildren.

Howard was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Collier and a daughter, Janet Louise Collier.
