Imogene H. Brown, 83, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Imogene was born June 11, 1929 in South Bend to the late Oliver Whitman and Minnie Belle (Myrick) Hill. She married Darwin Wayne Brown September 19, 1948 in South Bend. He preceded her in death March 15, 2000. Imogene worked as a secretary for Dick Baynes and Tom Labbe Optometrist and retired from Graham Library. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: daughter, Belle Nichols of Graham; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Brown of Eagle Mountain, Utah; grandchildren, Nathaniel and Matthew Brown; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by son, Dr. Wayne Brown, Jr. and a son-in-law Patrick Douglas Nichols.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.
Family visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
