Inocencio Romero Venzor, 76, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 in Dallas. Funeral mass will be held Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Inocencio was born December 28, 1945 in Johnson City to the late Lazaro and Julia (Romero) Venzor. He married Mary Elena Salinas August 21, 1965 in Ballinger. He started working at a very early age and had various jobs until he started working for Zack Burkett in 1967 in Abilene. He moved to Graham permanently in 1976 to continue working with Burkett, and worked for 3 generations until his death. He was passionate about his work with Zack Burkett and had a very strong work ethic that he passed on to his children.
He has been a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church since 1976 and was a Godly man and he led his family that way.
He loved camping, fishing, and sitting outside in a cool breeze. He loved to barbecue and enjoyed eating family meals with his entire family.
Survivors included: wife, Mary Venzor of Graham; daughters, Julia Sullivan and husband, Chance of Graham and Rebecca Venzor of Wichita Falls; sons, Mark Venzor and girlfriend, Brenda Stewart of Wichita Falls, Jesse Venzor and wife, Angela of Graham, and Billy Venzor of Graham; grandchildren, Micheal Clement, Eric Clement, Miranda Hawthorne, Julia Scobee, Heather Sullivan, Elizabeth Perez, Autumn Venzor, Nathan Stewart, Aaron Stewart, Aaron Venzor, Jennifer Venzor, Jocelyn Venzor, Thadius Whitson, Conner Venzor, Tye Yanez, Jayden Courtney, Lilliana Venzor, and Izsabella Venzor; 8 great grandchildren, 22 nieces and nephews and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sister, Rosa Cervantes and brothers, Pat Venzor, Juan Venzor, and Joe Venzor.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
