Irene Dixon Durham,86, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Irene was born November 28, 1927 in Crosbyton, Texas to the late Walter and Velma (Brown) Steadham. She married Cecil Dixon October 23, 1946 in Graham. He preceded her in death February 10, 1976. Irene was a homemaker and a member of Oak Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include: daughters, Margarett Ellyson of Graham and Joie Mayhugh of Graham; brother, Richard Steadham of Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sister, Laverne Ramsey, brother, Gene Steadham, and two great great granddaughters.
Family visitation will be held Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Agape of Oak Street Baptist Church.
