Irvan Barnett, Sr., 89, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in Graham Church of God. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Irvan was born April 23, 1924 in Cameron County to the late Roy and Lillie Maude (Marney) Barnett. He married Toy Ophelia Armstrong October 7, 1944 in Jacksboro. She preceded him in death December 26, 2004. Irvan was an oil producer and an active member of the Graham Church of God where he was a deacon.
Survivors include: son, Lin Barnett and wife, Maria of Wichita Falls; daughter, Vickie Walker and husband, Audy of Graham; grandchildren, Juan Carlos Huerta of Fort Worth, Miguel Angel Huerta of Wichita Falls, Lauren Sullivan of Olney and Alex Walker of Plano.
He was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
Family visitation will be held Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
