Isaiah Gage Smith

Isaiah Gage Smith, 6, passed away Friday, November 13, 2009 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Isaiah was born June 25, 2003 in Mineral Wells to Anthony and Leslie Autry-Smith. He and his family lived in Graham but relocated to Fort Worth to be near his medical team. The Smith's attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church and Rising Star Baptist Church. Isaiah was a first grader at Liberty Elementary School in Fort Worth.

Isaiah was such a special child and everyone around him felt that. He touched so many lives in his 6 years on Earth.

He leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Leslie Smith of Fort Worth; father, Anthony Smith of Olney; grandparents, Dave and Deborah Wrisley, Glenda Smith, and Curtis Ray Autry; great grandparents, Rev. D.A. and Vermell Autry and Frank Smith; aunts, Felicia "Kaye" McLemore and Elaine Saenz; uncles, Carroll Smith, Jim Smith, Brandon E. Autry, and Jake McLemore; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is the grandson of the late Sandy Smith of Olney and great grandson of the late Warren G. and Esther Tate of Graham.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
