J. Buck Lewis

J. "Buck" Lewis, 73, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at his home in Newcastle. Funeral will be held Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in True Cemetery in Young County. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

J. Buck was born July 5, 1941 in Olney, Texas to the late Joe L. and Dovie Adell (Clifton) Lewis. He married Shirley Moore, March 6, 1960 in Graham. She preceded him in death on, April 19, 1995. J. Buck spent most of his life in Young County where he worked in the oilfield and was a farmer and rancher.

Survivors include; daughter, Constance Middaugh of Abilene; son, J.C. Lewis, Jr. of Newcastle; special friend, Helen Cook of Eliasville; 9 grandchildren.

J. Buck was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Spurlin and a brother, Billy Joe Lewis.
