Jackie Phinney Ribble, 85, passed away, January 15, 2014 in Tyler. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Jackie was born March 30, 1928 in Graham to Otis "Tige" and Odessa "Toots" (Hibler) Phinney. In her youth, she was barrel racer in area rodeos. She married Bill Ribble May 22, 1945. She was employed at Graham National Bank for many years. In 1972, they moved to Lafayette, Louisiana. She became an officer at the First National Bank of Lafayette. They moved back to Graham when they retired. She was well known for being a creative and talented seamstress. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, a son, Wayne, her brother, Glenn Phinney, and by her parents, Otis "Tige" and Odessa "Toots" (Hibler) Phinney.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Cheri Williams and husband, Randy of Tyler; Dana Ribble of Houston; Penny Vincent and husband, Rickey of Ethel, Louisiana; 3 grandchildren, Ryan Vincent and fiancee, Shannon of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Jeremy Phillips and wife, Ece of New York City; Bree Williams of Sulphur Springs, Texas; 2 great grandsons, Daniel Vincent of Baton Rouge Louisiana and Denis Phillips of New York City; a sister-in-law, Margie Phinney of Graham, and 2 nieces, Karon Harrell and Vicki Mills of Graham.
