Jackie Whitaker

Jackie Whitaker, 65, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Burial will follow in Newcastle Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Jackie was born on March 17, 1947 in Fort Worth to the late Ollie Lee and Evie Mae (Mayfield)
Whitaker. He was married to Patricia Pattillo for 44 years and was a retired Truck Driver. Jackie was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam and attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Survivors include: wife, Patricia Whitaker of Newcastle; daughters, Debra Taylor of Graham and Cynthia Nottingham ofNorthlake; two granddaughters, Christin White and Cathryne Wilson, 3 grandsons, Nathan Wilson, Trey Hayhurst, and Eli Nottingham; step-grandchildren Alex Nottingham and Bryce Nottingham; nephew, Tommy McGee; niece Dorthy Davis; great nephew, Jessie McGee; one great grandchild on the way.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Brenda Whitaker, two sisters, and three brothers.
