Jacqueline Maples

Jacqueline Maples, 81, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Salem Crestview United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Loving Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Jacqueline was born July 21, 1934 in Loving to the late C.H. and Lavina (Huffman) Prater. She married James Maples May 10, 1952 in Newcastle and he preceded her in death February 15, 1993. Jacqueline was a homemaker and a member of Salem Crestview United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: daughter, Christi Kirkland and husband, Archie of Graham; sons, Phillip Maples of Graham, Stan Maples and wife, Petey of Arlington, and Mark Maples of Jacksboro; sister, Nadine Holland of Burkburnett; brother, Paul Prater of Breckenridge; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.

Family visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
