Jamaal Shawntell Jenkins, 27, died Friday, January 22, 2010 in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 10:00 in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Elizabeth Mooney of Los Angeles, CA. officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Jamaal was born June 22, 1982 in Tucson, Arizona. He was a semi-pro boxer. He married Andrea Jenkins, December 10, 2004 in Austin.

Survivors include; wife, Andrea Jenkins of Austin; mother, Julia Jenkins of Tucson, AZ.; father, Jerry Jenkins of Monroe, LA; daughter, Tira Jenkins of Tucson; sons, Elijah True Jenkins of Mineral Wells, Elijah Jenkins of Fayetteville, NC, and Jamaal Jenkins, Jr. of Kileen; sister, Kisha Christian of Tucson; brothers, Kevin Jenkins of Dallas, Travary Jenkins of Saginaw, MI, William Christian III of San Antonio, and Chandler Booker of Tucson; maternal grandmother, Ella Penns of Tucson; step-daughters, Amanda Robinson, Sherre Earls, and Nasha Neal all of Austin; host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

The Family will greet friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
