James Ernest Ansohn

James Ernest Ansohn, 84, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 in Tyler. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in Faith Center. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

James was born July 15, 1930 in Wichita Falls to the late W.L. and Maude L. (Collins) Ansohn. He married Marita G. Morrison July 22, 1950 in Lancaster. James worked for the Texas Department of Transportation in the engineering department for 42 years. He was a member of the Graham Lions Club, Gideons International, and Assembly of God.

Survivors include: wife, Maurita Morrison Ansohn of Graham; daughters, Marlene Ballard and husband, Duane of Van and Dianne Caldwell and husband, Danny of Graham; sons, James L. Ansohn and wife, Roxie of Troup, Richard Ansohn and wife, Debbie of Moore, Oklahoma, Noland Ansohn of Burkburnett, and Daryl Ansohn and wife, Vickie of Wichita Falls; 22 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren.
