James Ellis Hamilton

James Ellis Hamilton, 71, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at his home in Graham.  Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend J.B. McCracken officiating.  Burial will follow in Murray Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

James was born April 16, 1944 in Los Angeles, CA. to the late Ellis Alexander and Annie Louise (Moreland) Hamilton.  He graduated from Graham High School and was a former employee of Graham Magnetics.  James was a rancher and farmer most of his life in Young County.  He married Ella Marchman, July 16, 1964 in Breckenridge.  He was a member of the Murray Baptist Church.

Survivors include; wife Ella Hamilton of Graham; son, Doug Hamilton of Graham; daughter, Michelle Ivy and husband Bob of Stinnett; brother, Eddy R. Hamilton and wife Diane of Breckenridge; grandchildren, Michael Hamilton and wife Megan, Austin Ivy, Robert Ivy and wife Jessica.

James was preceded in death by a son Trenton Hamilton in 2009.

The Family will be at Morrison Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. to greet friends.
