James Wayne Hazelton
James Wayne Hazelton, 86, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 in Graham. Memorial services will be held Friday, May 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Morningside Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Wayne was born February 19, 1928 in Loving to the late James Boyd and Edna Mae (Petty) Hazelton. He married Ruby Marie Carter November 11, 1944 in Graham. Wayne was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. He was retired from Sears as a service manager and a member of Morningside Baptist Church.
Survivors include: wife, Ruby Hazelton of Graham; daughter, Jeannie Byars of Graham; sons, Joe Hazelton of Graham and Johnny Hazelton of Graham; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by son, Jay Wayne Hazelton, sister, Anna McCallister, and brother, Melvin Lee Hazelton.
