James "Jim" Holman

James Auldon Holman passed away November 5, 2023 in Graham, TX.  A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 12 at 3:30 at Celebration Community Church, 908 Pennsylvania Avenue, Ft. Worth, TX 76104.

James (Jim) was born on March 3, 1948 in Dallas, Texas.  He attended Kimball High School and graduated with the class of 1966.  James had a short tenure in the Air National Guard.  In his early years, he was an active member at Southwood United Methodist Church, involved in both the youth and music ministries.  He spent many years involved with Oak Cliff soccer, both coaching and playing.  James had a long career with Oncor Electric, originating with Dallas Power and Light (DP&L).  In 2014, he married Maricel Sumoguid and they spent many years traveling and enjoying retirement.  Golfing and fishing were his favorite activities, spending many hours enjoying the water at many lakes but primarily Possum Kingdom Lake.  

James is survived by his wife, Maricel; brother and sister-in-law Gary & Lynda Holman, sister and brother-in-law Margie & Billy Joe Horton plus many extended cousins, nieces and nephews.
