James A. Jordan

James A. Jordan, 83, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 in Graham. A Graveside service will be Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in Cottonwood Cemetery in Jack County. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

James was born September 8, 1931 in Odessa, Texas to the late Jerry Arthur and Thelma Jordan. He married Doris Louise Howell, May 23, 1948 in Lenora, Texas. She preceded him in death on March 19, 2000. James was a Senior Vice President with Beacon National Insurance Company for 32 years. He had lived in Bryson for the last several years.

Survivors include; son, Bill Jordan and wife Kimberly of Rockdale; sisters, Carol Haymans of Oklahoma City, OK. and Judy Locke of Lakeland, FL.; brother, Bobby Mayes of Arlington; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by a son, Mike Jordan in 2011.
