James Paul McNatt

James Paul McNatt, 88, of Graham, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in Graham. A graveside service will be held Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie with Dorman Holub of Eastside Church of Christ officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Paul was born December 25, 1924 in Bowie, Texas to the late John Caperton and Agnes Obertie Lovelady McNatt. He married Gracie Inez Thompson on January 25, 1944 in Bowie. She preceded him in death on June 30, 2012. Paul was retired from Texas Utilities as a Shift Engineer. He was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ and a Veteran of the United States Navy. Paul was a bass singer with the Eastside Church of Christ, the Red Top Community Singers and a group who sang at the local Care Centers.

Survivors: sons, Robert Lynn "Bob" McNatt of Graham and Glenn McNatt and wife Jane of Graham; grandsons, Bart Justin McNatt of Carrizo Springs and John Robert McNatt and wife Nicole of Orlando, FL; granddaughter, Athena Runyan of Arlington; great-granddaughter, Gabrielle "Gabby" McNatt of Orlando, FL; great grandsons, Cornell and Issac Runyan both of Arlington; niece, Jeanne Bradshaw of Austin.

Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Alton Leroy McNatt and wife Orene.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
