James Savis

James Savis, 87, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 in Graham.  A Graveside funeral will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

James was born March 8, 1929 in Jean, Texas to the late Roscoe and Ivy (Sinclair) Savis.  He married Billie Jolene Calhoun, June 15, 1953 in Abilene and preceded him in death November 14, 2006.  James was a former employee of Graham Mill and Elevator.

Survivors include; sons, Larry Savis of Wichita Falls, Jimmy Savis and Allen Gathings of Graham; daughter, Debra Pruitt of Graham; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by a son, Darryl Savis.
