Janie Garcia

Janie Garcia, 58, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in The Colony. A rosary will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Throckmorton Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Janie was born on February 24, 1953 in Hearn to Filemon and Juana (Navarro) Garcia. She was a longtime resident of Dallas and was employed at Hartford Insurance in Dallas.

Survivors include: mother, Juana Garcia of Graham; sister, Sallie Galindo of The Colony; nieces, Sandra and Jessica Galindo; nephew, Christopher Galindo; great niece, Maranda Galindo.

She was preceded in death by her father, Filemon Garcia.
