Jerry Dee Cummings

Jerry Dee Cummings, 87, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Friday, September 25, 2015 in Graham or as Dad would say "to the Big Spirit in the Heavens".   Funeral services will be Tuesday September 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at 4:30 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Jerry was born December 13, 1927 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to the late Richard Henry and Mary Myrtle (Bramlett) Cummings.  He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II.  Jerry was sign painter, a neon designer and an oil producer.  He attended neon school in Denton County.  He was a wonderful Daddy, Gandaddy, and Friend to many.

Survivors include: daughter, Paula Cummings O'Bryan and spouse, Mike Walker of Graham; granddaughter, Misty O'Bryan Ward and husband, Kirk of Weatherford; two great grandchildren, Avery and Bryce Ward; special friend and mother of children, Jo (Mathews) Cummings, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Dee Cummings, four brothers Dub, Ben, Bill, and Perry Cummings; three sisters, Launa Henley, Viola Adams, and Christeen Jones.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or a favorite charity.

The family will be at Morrison Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. to greet friends.
