Jerry Claud Hearne

Jerry Claud Hearne, 58, of Newcastle, Texas passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 in Graham. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Newcastle Baptist Church with Jesse Edwards, Pastor and Wayne Harden with Grace Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Newcastle Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Jerry was born July 24, 1953 in Olney, Texas to Claud Fletcher Hearne and Juanita Biggers. He married Rachel Ann Barrett on August 25, 1973 in Loving. Jerry graduated from Burkburnett High School and was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of the Loving Masonic Lodge #917 and First Baptist Church in Newcastle. He loved music and taught guitar and fiddle playing.

Survivors include: wife, Rachel Ann Hearne of Graham; daughter, Crystal Ann Stewart and husband Travis of Jean; son, Justin Claud Hearne and wife, Amber of Graham; father, Claud Hearne of Olney mother, Juanita Biggers of Graham; 7 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Neal Hearne.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
