Jerry "Jiggin" Taylor

"Jiggin" Jerry Taylor, 61, passed away at his home, Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Funeral will be held, Saturday January 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Gunsight Cemetery in Stephens County. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Jerry was born April 22, 1953 in Olney to Richard Junior and Billie Jean (Fain) Taylor. He graduated Graham High School and was a member of the Church of Christ. He married Lisa Box, April 21, 1978 in Graham. She preceded him in death in 2010. Jerry loved outdoors and lived as a "fishing guide for God".

Survivors include; parents, Dick and Billie Taylor of Graham; daughter, Tara Hanley and husband Tony of Young County; sons, Richard Herndon and wife Kimberly of Plano, Stewart Herndon and wife Kelli of Norman, OK, Eric Taylor and wife Misty of Crescent, OK, and Jerry Dale Taylor and wife Tiffany of Newcastle; sister, Robbie Read and husband Dwight of Graham; brother, Robert Taylor and wife Lisa of Lake Dallas; nephew, Kelly Read and wife Tracy of Graham; great nephews, Kole and Klayton Read of Graham; sixteen grandchildren, Kelsee Jennings, McKinlee Hanley, Brooke, Sydney, Hunter, and Brady Herndon, Kaavn Green, Logan, Gage, Ashleigh, and Jerry Richard Taylor, Sam Herndon, Brock Taylor, and Jaden McCann, Maddie and Rory Stephens.

The family will be at Morrison Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. to greet friends.
